It’s that time of the month when my monthly sponsored post goes live on Minerva Crafts Blogger Network goes live.
For August I chose to make a little top. This make was purely inspired by the fabric. How could I not fall in love with an embroidered polka dot fabric? I wanted to go for a simple pattern that makes the fabric the star rather than the style of the garment.

Sewing Summary:
Pattern: Gaia by I AM Patterns is a sleeveless cami top with a V-shaped neckline. Ribbon is used to gather the fabric at the shoulders.
Sizing: EU 36 to 46 (for my make I cut a size 40)
Fabric: 0.85 m Atelier Brunette Stardust fabric
Notions: 2m gold bias tape 1cm wide (double fold)
Modifications: did a sway back of 1cm at the centre back, and later after making a wearable toile, I took a wedge 1 cm at the shoulder point going into nothing at the neckline.
