Today my April project for the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network is now live. For those who do not know, I am part of MinervaCrafts group of bloggers and each month I make a project in collaboration with them. They send me the supplies of my choice to make a project in exchange for a blog post for their blog.
This month I thought I’d finally bring out to the top of my To Do list the Carnaby Dress by Nina Lee, which was on my To Do list for ages. As the weather is getting warmer I want to ditch the layers and prefer to wear lighter clothing. For me, this was a quick and fun make. Sewing Summary:
Pattern: Carnaby Dress, Nina Lee – a simple shift dress, perfect for playing with pattern and colour. With separate skirt and bodice pieces, you can easily create a striking colour block effect or keep it subtle with just a pop of contrast in the pockets. It has two variations: with or without short sleeves (View A is sleeveless; View B has sleeves).
Sizing: 6 to 20 UK
Fabric: 1.5 m of John Kaldor cotton sateen

Disclaimer: I was sent the supplies free of charge in exchange for an honest review. The opinions in the post are my own and not influenced in any way by MinervaCrafts and/or the manufacturers.
I think this is a great looking pattern. The fabric is perfect!
