MCBN Project – January (Sponsored Post)

For my first MCBN project for the year I thought it would be fun to make a dress. The fabric I chose inspired me to use the Zephyr pattern from Deer and Does ( a French pattern company).

I was surprised how fast the dress came together, although I did use the overlocker for most of the construction.

To get the final look I played around with the placement of the pattern pieces.

Sewing Summary:

Pattern: Zephyr by Deer and Doe – this is a sleeveless knit skater dress with princess seams. It comes with 3 versions: a dress with a high crew neck, a dress with V neck and a separates version (top and skirt).

Sizing: European sizing 34-46

Fabric: 2m of floral scuba knit

Notions: none needed
