Art Gallery Denim Skirt – Minerva Crafts Blogger Network Post

For my second post for the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network (#MCBN) I decided to make a denim skirt with their Art Gallery Denim distressed fabric. I chose the Rainy Night colour. I thought that the Butterick 6326 view A, was the perfect pattern for this fabric. My pattern came with my Love Sewing Magazine subscription. But it is also available on the MinervaCrafts website.

Sewing Summary:
Pattern: Butterick B6326 view A
Fabric: just under 1 m of Art Gallery The Denim Studio Distressed Denim Fabric – Rainy night
Notions: 9″black metal zip, interfacing for the waistband.
Sewing time: about 3 hours including tracing the pattern pieces.

If you would like to know more about how I got along with this project please check out the link below:

And if you like my skirt so much you want to have one yourself, you can get a kit that includes the pattern, 1 m of the fabric and 9” metal zip for only £36.53.
