Helping Out – Manchester Day 2017

This post is a bit different than my usual content. However it is sill craft/creativity related.

Recently I decided that I could do some volunteer work, as a way of showing my gratitude towards the place I now call home – Manchester. So when the opportunity to give a helping hand to the artists involved in this year’s Manchester Day, I was all in.

The last few days Ive been helping making some costumes for the day for Ruta and Amy Hegarty ( It was all great fun but really tiring. I can barely keep my eyes open.

Amy Hegarty me and Shahida.

All the artists are already hard at work making their costumes and stuctures for the dreat day. Dragons, trees or other mythical creatures are well under way. Feels really rewarding helping them make a reality their visions for the day.
